Culture is not just for older people here. This is because my daughter, who was only 11 years old (she is older now), kept telling me that culture and theater are only for older people. I looked at my daughter with my mouth open and couldn\’t understand why she would say that. Why is culture only for old people? Because I remember first and second graders and kids from other grades also went to the movies. And both my friend and my daughter told me that movies are not really culture, that movies are more for toddlers and young teenagers, and that theater and other culture is more for older people.

I had no idea about this, so when my daughter turned 18, I asked her why she still went to film and music festivals, which are also cultural. I told her that when my daughter was younger, when she was still in elementary school, I used to tell her that culture was for old people.
